HushSIMs / BUYING GUIDE

Private eSIM cost: the SIM, the top-up and the total

Compare a $10 eSIM with a $30 physical SIM, calculate a starter selection and understand the difference between data credit and gigabytes.

The key point

A HushSIMs eSIM starts at $10 and a physical SIM at $30. Usage is separate. Compare the starting price and the credit you receive before choosing a setup.

Start with two separate prices

The SIM is the starting point for a connection. The top-up supplies usage. Treating them as two separate purchases makes it easier to compare the total you actually want, rather than comparing a low SIM price against another offer that already includes data. HushSIMs lists the format and each top-up separately, so you can build a selection without assuming anything is bundled.

Compare the same amount of credit

A digital profile costs $10.00 and a physical card costs $30.00. A $50 data-credit top-up is listed at $42.86; $100 of credit is listed at $85.72. The credit amount describes the balance supplied to the compatible service. The purchase price is what appears in your bag. Those numbers are deliberately shown separately.

Credit is not a fixed number of gigabytes

A $50 data balance does not mean 50 GB. How far the balance goes depends on the applicable network and destination tariff. To estimate a data allowance, first confirm the tariff and how usage is rounded or charged. Then compare the likely usage cost. Without that information, a precise gigabyte claim would give a false impression of value.

What belongs in your final budget

Add the chosen SIM format, any data credit and any calling minutes you need. Then account for delivery and applicable tax shown in the final quote. A physical card may involve shipping; a compatible digital profile does not require a physical delivery. The calculator below compares product prices only, so it is a planning tool rather than a final payment quote.

A lower price is useful only if the format works

Check your exact phone model, regional variant and network lock before choosing eSIM. If you choose a physical card, confirm the available slot and supported format. A low upfront price does not compensate for a profile that the device cannot install. Once the format is settled, add usage for a defined purpose instead of buying a balance simply because it is larger.

Look beyond the word private

When comparing private or no-KYC SIM offers, ask what identity checks apply, what the service records and what features have actually been verified. A separate SIM can help separate uses of a phone. It is not a guarantee that a network, payment provider or application has no information about you. Price and privacy should each be assessed on their own evidence.
