Separate the layers
Your SIM connects you to a mobile network. Your device, browser, apps and payment provider each handle information separately. Choosing a different SIM does not make all of those systems anonymous.
Encryption belongs in the details
End-to-end encryption is a specific property of a communication service. It should not be assumed from a product being described as a private or encrypted SIM.
Reduce unnecessary sharing
Review app permissions, use current software and choose communication tools appropriate to your needs. Do not publish installation QR codes or SIM identifiers.
Ask useful questions
Before purchase, ask what information is collected, which carrier provides service, which countries are supported and how deletion requests work. Clear answers are more useful than claims of being untraceable.
